Hey there!<br />
This post is definitely past its expiration, but better late than never!<br />
A few months ago Ryan and I purchased our first home together. in the highest hopes that we would have an established residence for the new baby. The whole process was a major headache and on several occasions it felt that the whole deal would fall apart and we would have wasted all of our time and financial resources to end up still living in our tiny townhome. <br />
Fast forward through 2 months of bickering with the seller and her realtor (an amateur at best) and negotiating price, closing costs, and necessary repairs (new roof anyone??) we FINALLY signed the paperwork and were handed the keys to our new home. OUR HOME!<br />
I present to you a photo tour of our bare bones house. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-lmVTkzuv6_8/VKMhCgblF4I/AAAAAAAACks/2QZTa3pl3Zg/s1600/IMG_0279.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-lmVTkzuv6_8/VKMhCgblF4I/AAAAAAAACks/2QZTa3pl3Zg/s1600/IMG_0279.JPG" height="320" width="213" /></a></div>
<br />
We have an awesome front yard with tons of shade from huge old oak trees. Little did we realize the benefit of shade came with a daily waterfall of bird crap over our vehicles parked in the driveway. Small price to pay.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-R7rLMfidi9E/VKMhQJJhI6I/AAAAAAAACk0/N7TqUhdGcEU/s1600/IMG_0275.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-R7rLMfidi9E/VKMhQJJhI6I/AAAAAAAACk0/N7TqUhdGcEU/s1600/IMG_0275.JPG" height="166" width="320" /></a></div>
There is a large 2 car garage and tons of space in the driveway. The house has a cute little courtyard entrance, and we plan to plant some greenery to make it more inviting. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-cvw76iPMPjQ/VKMhxKFD9LI/AAAAAAAAClE/YA8oPjnS7Z4/s1600/IMG_0284.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-cvw76iPMPjQ/VKMhxKFD9LI/AAAAAAAAClE/YA8oPjnS7Z4/s1600/IMG_0284.JPG" height="320" width="213" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The kitchen is not as big as we would have liked but there is definitely room for improvement. Not only do we plan to update it but we might tear down the adjacent laundry room to expand the kitchen. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-JwLJ8hyVJEg/VKMhyhMWZxI/AAAAAAAAClM/qoTfDsStlKY/s1600/IMG_0283.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-JwLJ8hyVJEg/VKMhyhMWZxI/AAAAAAAAClM/qoTfDsStlKY/s1600/IMG_0283.JPG" height="320" width="213" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Although having a laundry room is awesome, it isn't the greatest space for its purpose and would be much better served as an extension of the kitchen.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
The house has 4 decent sized bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. I can not tell you enough how convenient having 4 bedrooms is. Between a nursery for the new baby, 2 teenage step daughters visiting every other weekend, brother-in-law visiting almost as often, family visiting from far off states, and a roommate currently residing with us, we have plenty of room to accommodate them all.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-93f2rh6rk0c/VKMh64ALUuI/AAAAAAAAClc/LPbBRCIwQN4/s1600/IMG_0286.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-93f2rh6rk0c/VKMh64ALUuI/AAAAAAAAClc/LPbBRCIwQN4/s1600/IMG_0286.JPG" height="213" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The master bedroom has an on suite bathroom, and 2 reach in closets. There is not a ton of closet space but we have installed some closet organizers which allow us to use the space more efficiently.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-G9PKVtw7sXo/VKMhmpZxSnI/AAAAAAAACk8/xK6J9O-Ix5U/s1600/IMG_0302.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-G9PKVtw7sXo/VKMhmpZxSnI/AAAAAAAACk8/xK6J9O-Ix5U/s1600/IMG_0302.JPG" height="320" width="213" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The master bathroom needs some major updating. The photo looks a lot better than in person. It is a large enough area though that a total overhaul could produce an amazing master bath. *SIGH* lots of plans. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-8WVxYR0VhBg/VKMhzFU0GZI/AAAAAAAAClQ/864kh8I0-ag/s1600/IMG_0285.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-8WVxYR0VhBg/VKMhzFU0GZI/AAAAAAAAClQ/864kh8I0-ag/s1600/IMG_0285.JPG" height="213" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The other 3 bedrooms are all very similar, there is a window in each one, and a reach in closet. The largest is designated roommates for now. The room next to the master bedroom is the future baby nursery. The last room plays company to all other house guests, as well as kitty playroom. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3Irz0REgjuY/VKMiBw5iTyI/AAAAAAAACls/6kF5cxpUiq8/s1600/IMG_0288.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3Irz0REgjuY/VKMiBw5iTyI/AAAAAAAACls/6kF5cxpUiq8/s1600/IMG_0288.JPG" height="320" width="213" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Sneak peek at the guest bathroom. GREAT size. TERRIBLE features. Pink tub anyone? Again, another part of the house that is completely functional but could greatly benefit from some TLC and a complete overhaul. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-KtmeBytWrso/VKMiap4c62I/AAAAAAAACmM/4haHshh_dLg/s1600/IMG_0292.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-KtmeBytWrso/VKMiap4c62I/AAAAAAAACmM/4haHshh_dLg/s1600/IMG_0292.JPG" height="213" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Behold! Our living and dining areas. The living Space works perfectly for us and has a nice open feel. The large fireplace is in good shape but could use a facelift. Can you picture how kickass the kitchen could be if we knocked out that laundry room(little window on the left)?? </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Please notice the 2 sets of huge (yes they are larger than normal size) sliding doors to the left of the fireplace. We are going to knock out the right set and add a built in bar area to house a beer keg and wine fridge. The other set will be replaced with a nice pair of French doors. This space has SO MUCH POTENTIAL. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-RRJUL8Ln3dg/VKMikQqZsLI/AAAAAAAACmk/DdC9LiZOAv4/s1600/IMG_0298.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-RRJUL8Ln3dg/VKMikQqZsLI/AAAAAAAACmk/DdC9LiZOAv4/s1600/IMG_0298.JPG" height="213" width="320" /></a></div>
We were graced with a good sized back yard and a large patio. We love to grill and spend time outside and these were major pluses for us. <br />
<br />
We have A LOT of work ahead of us, but the price was right, and we got a great deal on this property. The layout is ideal and there is enough space that with a few adjustments and upgrades this home will suit our needs and live up to our expectations. It may take us years to accomplish all of our plans but I cannot wait for the day that we turn this starter home into our dream home. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Stay tuned for updated pics with finished rooms once I get around to setting everything up. </div>

<br />
Hello!<br />
This post has been long over due and I apologize that 5 months has gone by since my last post. <br />
I am glad to say that although it has been a busy and hectic several months I am now into the swing of things and should be more apt to posting regularly again. So much has happened during that time and I have some very exciting news and adventures to share with you.<br />
<br />
Where to begin. <br />
I have switched jobs twice in that time. I was working at the Airport last time I wrote and that same month decided enough was enough with staffing and schedule changes and decided to pursue new avenues. Welcome manager position at a small franchise cake shop that shall remain anonymous. This was by far the most miserable 8 weeks I have ever spent at a job. Ridiculous owners who didn't have a clue how to run a business let alone treat people like human beings. I enjoyed the work and loved my employees but after my absurdly negative 6 week review and feeling pressured by the owners to "find something else" that's exactly what I did. Which brings us to my current manager position at a small franchise bagel shop that shall also remain anonymous. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-DcogKOb9YYQ/U_DaSJJQrWI/AAAAAAAACfM/DvtHTqJjkRU/s1600/espressoyourself.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-DcogKOb9YYQ/U_DaSJJQrWI/AAAAAAAACfM/DvtHTqJjkRU/s1600/espressoyourself.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div align="left" class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I was instantly drawn to this idea since my entire childhood involved bagels and cream cheese for breakfast in the great state of New York and since moving to the taco state of Texas have not seen many breakfast bagels. Although I have grown fond of breakfast tacos this was definitely a throwback to my childhood and made me feel a sense of being "home" while at work. I also have a great incentive for my northern bagel-loving family members to come down to visit me ;) </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The transitions between jobs has been the biggest reason I have not had time or energy to write.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The next few adventures are quite huge and exciting.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
We are buying a house! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Closing on it this week and moving in by the end of September. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
We have been renting the same townhome for 4+ years and have grown tired of the renting game and not being able to do anything with the house. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The new house is a major upgrade: 4 bedrooms, fireplace, large yards with huge shady oak tress, covered patio, laundry room, and huge 2 car garage. It has everything we need and want, did I mention 4 bedrooms?!?! It's a bit dated but completely livable and has potential for updates and renovations to be awesome. Perfect for DIY projects and blog posts! Since we will have an extra bedroom I will also have a space to set up a studio for makeup videos etc. That's been the main drawback of the townhome and why I haven't started the YouTube videos part of this blog adventure.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Drum roll please......................................................................................................................................</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Our biggest adventure yet:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Ryan and I are expecting a beautiful bundle of joy mid December!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-51hx9kjW6i4/U_Dk8CSZ2OI/AAAAAAAACfk/L6PYVkGJCsQ/s1600/baby.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-51hx9kjW6i4/U_Dk8CSZ2OI/AAAAAAAACfk/L6PYVkGJCsQ/s1600/baby.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I am exactly 5 1/2 months along and its been overall a smooth pregnancy so far. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-x5q2zBnnLp4/U_DlgB-qonI/AAAAAAAACfw/g2WNCR6tPi8/s1600/5months.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-x5q2zBnnLp4/U_DlgB-qonI/AAAAAAAACfw/g2WNCR6tPi8/s1600/5months.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The worst of it just happened to coincide with the horrible bakery experience. Which speaking of cake shop the smell of THOSE cakes baking was the #1 cause of my nausea. I still feel a bit queasy if I think about it. I never actually got sick just felt nauseous everyday for a solid 4 weeks. These days I am feeling pretty good with just some body aches here and there, tired (but could be from working on my feet 50 hours a week) and being susceptible to colds it seems as I am currently battling one I picked up from recent travel to New York to visit family.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
We do not know the gender of the baby yet and have another 6 weeks to go before our next sonogram where we will hopefully be able to determine if it will be a little boy or a little girl. We do not have a strong preference one way or the other and would be thrilled with either (although I am rather fond of the idea of a baby boy). We have chosen names for both. Olivia Ryan for a girl, and Oliver Ryan if its a boy. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
We are extremely overjoyed and excited for this new chapter. New baby on the way is partly why we began the home search, although we have been talking about purchasing a home for some time. We need more space, room for a nursery, and a place to settle our little family. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
There will absolutely be more posts and adventures to come. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Please let me know if there is anything specific you would be interested in me writing about. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I cannot wait to share these adventures with all of you.</div>

Paella is a Spanish dish consisting of rice, fresh vegetables, seafood or other meat, and spices. My company had a team that was entered in the cookoff. It was really awesome to walk around and see the chefs in action creating huge pans of piping hot paella. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-yw_XRUnGO_8/Ux2V6F5dzxI/AAAAAAAAB6E/3YOMt_bAClk/s640/blogger-image--800683091.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-yw_XRUnGO_8/Ux2V6F5dzxI/AAAAAAAAB6E/3YOMt_bAClk/s640/blogger-image--800683091.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Saffron is generously used in many paella sand lends to the brilliant yellow color! More than half of the contestants used seafood including prawns, lobster, mussels, clams, shrimp, crawfish, and octopus! <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-AJNda8YrzPE/Ux2Vrqeg4NI/AAAAAAAAB5E/gTVOeDK80Xs/s640/blogger-image--944146528.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-AJNda8YrzPE/Ux2Vrqeg4NI/AAAAAAAAB5E/gTVOeDK80Xs/s640/blogger-image--944146528.jpg"></a></div><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">This particular batch you can see the body of the octopus right in the middle. The chef is from Minnesota and his dish had ingredients including wild boar and quail. Not the traditional additions to this dish but amazing flavors and one of my favorites from the bunch.<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-gF-ScrMp5aU/Ux2VuJSqsrI/AAAAAAAAB5U/vxIkjO4cGNk/s640/blogger-image-1152336150.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-gF-ScrMp5aU/Ux2VuJSqsrI/AAAAAAAAB5U/vxIkjO4cGNk/s640/blogger-image-1152336150.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">This impressive beauty is the paella that my company's team dreamed up. It was hands down the nicest presentation. With a shrimp skewer pineapple centerpiece! The flavor was also great. Not too fishy like several of the others. Way to go guys!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-GA813T-D0pk/Ux2V1YxIowI/AAAAAAAAB5k/c7c1pQlKvGc/s640/blogger-image-1329336605.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-GA813T-D0pk/Ux2V1YxIowI/AAAAAAAAB5k/c7c1pQlKvGc/s640/blogger-image-1329336605.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Paella for dessert? Sure!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">This was a cold, rice pudding style fruit "paella". Really great, and an awesome addition amid the savory contestants. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I didn't get a photo of the winning paella because we had to leave before the judging took place. Overall the event was awesome! All the food and drinks (beer, wine, SANGRIA!) were included in the cost of admission, around $55. Because my company was part of it, Ryan and I were able to attend for free. Even if you aren't a huge fan of paella, which I discovered I really don't care for it much, we couldn't pass up a great deal like that. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I suggest you check out local events happening in cities near you because you never know if there might be a cook off or other food festival as well as other fun adventures!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Hope you all had a great weekend!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Thanks for stopping by!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Til next time, </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Trish</div><br></div></div></div><br></div><br></div><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div></div></div></div></div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15713572139716995217noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4150611905592053558.post-72756982525638604842014-03-02T16:38:00.001-08:002014-03-02T16:38:42.676-08:00February Birchbox Unboxing!<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-nJ7C0yOdOpU/UxPO_GxWO8I/AAAAAAAABns/VgY3bSe0gfQ/s640/blogger-image-103215737.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-nJ7C0yOdOpU/UxPO_GxWO8I/AAAAAAAABns/VgY3bSe0gfQ/s640/blogger-image-103215737.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Hey there!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I know it is into March already but it's never too late to show what came in a previous months sub box. When choosing sub boxes I really liked to look at posts about past boxes and see what types of items could be in store for future months. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-wRexj24FD0U/UxPNz47thsI/AAAAAAAABnE/zh2k6q-5les/s640/blogger-image--589706944.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-wRexj24FD0U/UxPNz47thsI/AAAAAAAABnE/zh2k6q-5les/s640/blogger-image--589706944.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">The iconic birchbox with the chevron pattern and red tissue paper. It's always exciting to tear it open and see what's inside!<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-MzA97j5FBG8/UxPOhQZOaTI/AAAAAAAABnc/sHwZ1z5RU_U/s640/blogger-image--49090892.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-MzA97j5FBG8/UxPOhQZOaTI/AAAAAAAABnc/sHwZ1z5RU_U/s640/blogger-image--49090892.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Product lineup looks pretty good...</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-_hdm55-Ku3g/UxPOsXD1ykI/AAAAAAAABnk/TGEZu6ZVoM8/s640/blogger-image--1821835529.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-_hdm55-Ku3g/UxPOsXD1ykI/AAAAAAAABnk/TGEZu6ZVoM8/s640/blogger-image--1821835529.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">This glitter polish by Ruby Wing changes color in outdoor setting. I'm assuming it's the sunlight, maybe the change in temperature that attributes the change but it will be interesting to see how well it's works applied to the nails. I believe this is smaller than full size which retails for $10, but is still a good amount of polish.<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-eGm2XLM2fhs/UxPN7uS4Z8I/AAAAAAAABnM/J6aaZPBFwuY/s640/blogger-image-2085006750.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-eGm2XLM2fhs/UxPN7uS4Z8I/AAAAAAAABnM/J6aaZPBFwuY/s640/blogger-image-2085006750.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Birchbox features Beauty Protector products frequently and I have already fallen in love with their Protect and Detangle Spray. My hair is very fine and I am weary of adding oils to it because it weighs down and turns greasy easily but I will give this a shot and if it doesn't work for me I can pass it along to a friend with more lush locks. The full size sells for $21.95 which is about what the spray costs. With birchbox points from sub purchases it's easy to earn a $10 coupon which knocks the price down significantly. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Next is a sample of Hello fragrance by Harvey Prince. It's a cheery and bright scent. It retails for $55 which is not too bad as far as perfume goes. I'm not sure if I would repurchase but I love getting fragrance samples in these boxes because I can play with different scents daily. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">The star of this box is the Cynthia Rowley Liquid Liner in Black Ink. I think this is the full size product and costs $18. I love liquid liners and can never have too many. First application is pigmented and a smooth line. Perhaps I will do a more in depth look at this product after I try it a few times. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-yT3NxqvRfNA/UxPOJrUA6JI/AAAAAAAABnU/eYr4d7Bg2M4/s640/blogger-image-1739617475.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-yT3NxqvRfNA/UxPOJrUA6JI/AAAAAAAABnU/eYr4d7Bg2M4/s640/blogger-image-1739617475.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">The last item in the box is this sample of Previse Hydromilk. It claims to be a lightweight hydrator for most skin types without any synthetic ingredients or parabens. The full size is $60 which is out of my budget for face cream. That's the cool thing about subscription boxes though you get to try products that you otherwise would never get to test. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">The monthly cost for Birchbox is $10. It's a pretty good value for what you get. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Hope you enjoyed seeing what came in the Birchbox last month. Any thoughts or ideas for reviews you'd like to see I'd love to read them in the comments below!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I was nominated recently for the Leibster Award and plan to do a formal post soon thanking the reader who nominated me and nominating more bloggers! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Thanks for reading! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Til next time,</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Trish</div><br><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div></div></div><br></div></div><br></div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15713572139716995217noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4150611905592053558.post-15663147894900496302014-02-27T06:49:00.001-08:002014-02-27T06:49:17.129-08:00Outfit of the Week<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-VDv9HUwA76I/Uw9QZrqZZsI/AAAAAAAABdo/jH8P5Zp47Wo/s640/blogger-image--2140821484.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-VDv9HUwA76I/Uw9QZrqZZsI/AAAAAAAABdo/jH8P5Zp47Wo/s640/blogger-image--2140821484.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Hey guys!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I have been a bit MIA this past week. I was pretty sick over the weekend and missed a day of work. I rested (slept!) as much as possible and didn't get much of anything accomplished. I am feeling much better today and so I shall bring you my *overdue* outfits of the week. We have gotten some cooler weather so I jumped on the opportunity to wear a few of the scarves in my collection. Each of these outfits features some of my favorites. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-7yNGJDb8BvM/Uw9Qa_cJC4I/AAAAAAAABdw/2bJzPjpvxGA/s640/blogger-image--1291468695.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-7yNGJDb8BvM/Uw9Qa_cJC4I/AAAAAAAABdw/2bJzPjpvxGA/s640/blogger-image--1291468695.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I love this relaxed ensemble. This top is my absolute favorite shirt from Nordstrom Rack. The brand is Pleione I believe. I have it in a soft blue also. It is so comfortable, drapes eloquently and really flatters my figure. I really like toll tab sleeves on tops as well. I paired it with my charcoal grey NYDJ pants it found discounted on Zulily. This particular scarf is an infinity style, clay and mustard color with a flocking bird pattern. Layered over the olive green top it is very complimenting. The shoes are my slip resistant bow flats from Payless.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-vn7q7P-KMNg/Uw9QYkm657I/AAAAAAAABdg/n47GTauReKY/s640/blogger-image-389835878.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-vn7q7P-KMNg/Uw9QYkm657I/AAAAAAAABdg/n47GTauReKY/s640/blogger-image-389835878.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I don't pair neutral on neutral on neutral often but this combination is one I like. The pants are a grey-brown textured trouser from Gap. The beige v-neck sweater is from OldNavy and I really like it. Its very light, cable knit pattern (love!), has a bit of stretch and just feels great to wear. I went a scarf bender from Zulily and picked up this cream open knit infinity scarf in the same haul as the bird scarf. This one is a bit more substantial and is great for keeping warm. It has a frayed edge and and a waffle type of pattern. It's super soft too! I believe the shoes are my slip resistant pumps from Payless.<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-OW1TL_Go3aU/Uw9QXHUi5PI/AAAAAAAABdY/4UZz6Gei_9U/s640/blogger-image-1292097231.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-OW1TL_Go3aU/Uw9QXHUi5PI/AAAAAAAABdY/4UZz6Gei_9U/s640/blogger-image-1292097231.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I like when there is monotone with a touch of color thrown in. Here I have a black and grey striped, short sleeve, light knit sweater from Ross with my dark grey trousers I bought at Nordstrom Rack. The sweater is light and the stripes are not too prominent. I combined it with my favorite geometric patterned infinity scarf that has hues of pink and green. I like the mix of pattern here as well as the colors. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">This week it was all about the scarves! I really wish Texas had a longer cold weather season but for now I enjoy every opportunity I find to wear sweaters, scarves, and boots. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I hope you all had a great weekend!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I am going to be honest here... my new camera is pretty daunting! Not for photos, but I've never made videos! I feel like I have been procrastinating on that subject for far too long. It's time I jump in and film something! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Do you have any ideas or thoughts on what I should do? </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I have a few hauls I could film.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Any suggestions are kindly welcome!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Thanks for reading!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Til next time,</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Trish</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div></div><br></div></div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15713572139716995217noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4150611905592053558.post-27702938104829689592014-02-20T06:14:00.001-08:002014-02-20T06:14:20.079-08:00Confessions of a sweetsaholic:<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-yJCyWTxmwZY/UwYNusH6woI/AAAAAAAABWk/JGJrgJLSn_Q/s640/blogger-image-1050860768.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-yJCyWTxmwZY/UwYNusH6woI/AAAAAAAABWk/JGJrgJLSn_Q/s640/blogger-image-1050860768.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Truths:</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I made these awesome cookies on Friday (Valentines day) with my step daughters. It's fun to try and theme the weeks wardrobe but also challenging. I can't say every week will be themed but I will make an effort to do some more coordinated weeks. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-PNNXt3XRxVI/UwM6M76rBjI/AAAAAAAABWU/G_4oVemMqM8/s640/blogger-image--1478742381.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-PNNXt3XRxVI/UwM6M76rBjI/AAAAAAAABWU/G_4oVemMqM8/s640/blogger-image--1478742381.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Here is a tribal patterned short sleeve cardigan I bought from Forever21. I use a brown braided belt from Charming Charlie to secure and help give some shape. Underneath is a 3/4 sleeve zip front black top from Target. The black skinny pants are from Forever21. The brown riding boots are Enzo Angiolini from Macys. My necklace is from World Market. This combination was so comfortable and cozy. I felt like I should have been at a ski lodge curled up in front of a huge rock fire place with hot cocoa! The sweater is very warm even though it is short sleeve and unfortunately in Texas we are already headed into our summer heat and I fear this may have been the last time I'll get to wear this before next winter. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-YMAvytXuT0s/UwM6L0PfLWI/AAAAAAAABWM/NbdVI2QajJU/s640/blogger-image--1268196580.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-YMAvytXuT0s/UwM6L0PfLWI/AAAAAAAABWM/NbdVI2QajJU/s640/blogger-image--1268196580.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Here is a polka dot blouse from Target with an Old Navy tank top underneath. The pants are a charcoal gray work pant from Nordstrom Rack. The black belt is pretty old but I think it is from Target. The chunky heart chain necklace is from Zulily and I also have it in gold tone. The shoes are nonslip ballet flats from Payless. I get so many compliments on this shirt. It sits slightly above my hips about mid waist which graciously accentuates my assets. The pattern is reminiscent of stars in space and feels very glam. I usually like to pair this with a deep berry or bright red lip for a nice retro vibe but this day I had a brighter fuchsia lip shade. Over all this is one of my favorite "office" type of outfit.<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-S5K5fAIUrkw/UwM6JlugYWI/AAAAAAAABV8/kfUo4KrzLwQ/s640/blogger-image-582972513.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-S5K5fAIUrkw/UwM6JlugYWI/AAAAAAAABV8/kfUo4KrzLwQ/s640/blogger-image-582972513.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Every now and again I like to throw in a dress combo. I bought this chevron patterned dress from Ross. The belt is the brown braided Charming Charlie one from before. My black leggings are from Zulily. My earrings are from World Market and the shoes are the same nonslip flats from Payless. This dress is fun and very chic. The black sleeves are mesh and the sweetheart neckline gives this a great feminine feel. Paired this with the gold dagger earrings to lend an edgy vibe. When I wear dresses I have to be creative because I don't carry a purse while I am walking about work. I usually keep phones (personal and work issued) and lip gloss in my pockets. Most of my dresses don't have any pockets but I found these leggings from Zulily that have a somewhat thicker pants-like material and back pockets. With these I'm able to clip my work phone onto the belt and the other items tucked in my back pocket. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">It was fun trying to see what kinds of prints I had lying around and it turns out I have more patterned items than I thought. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Hopefully this inspired you have a theme for your work outfits. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Hey guys!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I'm going to show you what came in the Popsugar MustHave box this month. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I love love love this subscription box. I know every time it arrives I am going to have awesome new products to try and have not been disappointed in the selections they send each month. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-1r88kEcEVtQ/UwHtOivSxwI/AAAAAAAABUs/POVsUkmk9Qo/s640/blogger-image-2092170187.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-1r88kEcEVtQ/UwHtOivSxwI/AAAAAAAABUs/POVsUkmk9Qo/s640/blogger-image-2092170187.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Even my kitties can't wait to see what's inside!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-S2v9-vFD5t4/UwHtRYGy8fI/AAAAAAAABU8/39P52eryLtc/s640/blogger-image-1920983567.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-S2v9-vFD5t4/UwHtRYGy8fI/AAAAAAAABU8/39P52eryLtc/s640/blogger-image-1920983567.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
This month has a great combination of beauty, skin care, sweets, and miscellaneous items. The variety in these boxes is what I find most alluring. You get to test out a bit of everything. Pop sugar mostly sends full size products with an occasional travel/deluxe sample size. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-TXt9c748NIY/UwHtUh7GKgI/AAAAAAAABVU/q7kptvuzGIU/s640/blogger-image-855643519.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-TXt9c748NIY/UwHtUh7GKgI/AAAAAAAABVU/q7kptvuzGIU/s640/blogger-image-855643519.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Often times they include a featured item. This Gorjana Brooks Jewelry Roll is really fun, bright and great for travel to keep jewelry organized. It has a playful cord to secure and the pebbled texture gives it a nice dimension. This retails for $45.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-GSO827jvfeI/UwHtSVp0NVI/AAAAAAAABVE/qpTc638hsTM/s640/blogger-image--47355703.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-GSO827jvfeI/UwHtSVp0NVI/AAAAAAAABVE/qpTc638hsTM/s640/blogger-image--47355703.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Here is the interior. It has 3 compartments to stash your jewelry and the quality is really quite nice. I look forward to using this the next time I take a trip.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-JfG9IBPZpG0/UwHtTNBjU3I/AAAAAAAABVM/d5gRMzMvJSA/s640/blogger-image-1687681027.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-JfG9IBPZpG0/UwHtTNBjU3I/AAAAAAAABVM/d5gRMzMvJSA/s640/blogger-image-1687681027.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
On the left is NCLA nail lacquer in Rodeo Drive Royalty. What a stunning rouge! It seems like an opaque cream formula and I can't wait to paint on such a luscious red. These nail polishes retail for $16. On the bottem right is a travel tin wax candle from K. Hall Designs in scent Peony. It smells so dainty but seems like it could still fill a space with flowery goodness. The card claims it will burn up to 20 hours which is impressive for such a petite candle. It comes in a reusable tin. These sell for $11. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-IlREB-Jo1LQ/UwHtNkipIFI/AAAAAAAABUk/MH_0gHfztWY/s640/blogger-image-785240222.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-IlREB-Jo1LQ/UwHtNkipIFI/AAAAAAAABUk/MH_0gHfztWY/s640/blogger-image-785240222.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
When I saw this in the box I could not contain my excitement! I love lip products and this dual lipstick and gloss combo from ModelCo is a great addition. I have worn this twice and it feels really nice on my lips. The crayon color finishes nicely and doesn't transfer. Even when you top it with the gloss it definitely has staying power. The color is a very neutral pink and flattering on my skin tone. I can't find individual price for these but a pack with 3 shade combinations and an eyeliner is $49. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-dxGKNuti5_8/UwLJ_aTqI1I/AAAAAAAABVk/sdsjBtyQtHw/s640/blogger-image-679315564.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-dxGKNuti5_8/UwLJ_aTqI1I/AAAAAAAABVk/sdsjBtyQtHw/s640/blogger-image-679315564.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
The sweet treat Popsugar included this month are cinnamon heart candies from Sugar Wish. They give you a coupon code for 20% off a purchase at their online store. The concept is you purchase a gift code for your recipient and they are able to redeem for their candy of choice. The selection of candies they offer is extensive. Their prices seem kind of steep but it is a cute idea and there packaging is absolutely adorable. According to the websites pricing on a 4 pack of candies this bag of hearts comes out to approximately $5. On the right side is Nourish Organic Pure Hydrating Argan Oil Face Serum. I haven't tried this out but it says it's good for normal to dry skin. My skin can run oily and I'm worries that it could be too much for me. My fiancé has dryer skin so perhaps I'll have him test it out if it doesn't work on me. It retails for $23.99 and this is a great size for travel. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-hD0sjhh-4kM/UwLKAwKyoRI/AAAAAAAABVs/jBfXOSnCh4c/s640/blogger-image-2092530256.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-hD0sjhh-4kM/UwLKAwKyoRI/AAAAAAAABVs/jBfXOSnCh4c/s640/blogger-image-2092530256.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
A lot of people were disappointed that popsugar included a drugstore product. I have been using this Dial Vitamin Boost Lotion Infused Body Wash with Vitamin B Complex and I am thoroughly enjoying it. I'm not sure what the scent is supposed to be but it is so pleasant, fruity, playful and very fresh. It lathers richly with a loofah and rinses easily. When I get out of the shower my skin feels soft and supple with moisture that lasts all day. The scent lingers beyond the shower and makes me feel fresh and clean. I cannot find exact pricing for this body wash but imagine it is similar to the other Dial body washes that run about $6. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
It is amazing how these subscription boxes can pack so much awesome into a small package. Totaled the items in this box come out around $120. The monthly subscription cost is $39.95. I feel like the price is an amazing deal for the products you receive. I will get use out of everything I recieved and am never disappointed with the selection of goodies each month. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">

Hello!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I missed Thumbs Up Thursday this week. Work has been hectic. I am so excited to say the long<span id="goog_1120450943"></span><span id="goog_1120450944"></span><a href="https://www.blogger.com/"></a> awaited camera</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Has arrived!!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
It got here Friday afternoon and I've been playing around with it. I also recieved a few of my subscription boxes Friday. I thought what a perfect opportunity to test out my new toy. I've got some awesome unboxings for you! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Although I missed my thumbs up this week, this is definitely 2 huge thumbs up and an exciting new chapter in my adventures. YouTube videos are just on the horizon!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Let's dive into the February Ipsy Glam Bag. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-iHHMZOpjp_4/Uv-44SqMboI/AAAAAAAABRQ/CwTxBj2yqCI/s640/blogger-image--1373727097.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-iHHMZOpjp_4/Uv-44SqMboI/AAAAAAAABRQ/CwTxBj2yqCI/s640/blogger-image--1373727097.jpg"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
This subscription is my favorite when it comes to trying new makeup. They usually send 5 deluxe samples and at least 1 of them a full size product. The subscription is $10 per month and the value of the bag always surpasses the cost. This months collection is quite lovely and includes a little bit of everything to create a complete look from head to toe. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-xPf3fqvde4k/Uv-40aUp1UI/AAAAAAAABQw/9LfZA1N4GBQ/s640/blogger-image-1120765889.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-xPf3fqvde4k/Uv-40aUp1UI/AAAAAAAABQw/9LfZA1N4GBQ/s640/blogger-image-1120765889.jpg"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
On the left is a decent size sample of IPKN NewYork BB Cream. The full size retails for $35. I haven't tried this yet but I like to get these kind if products to find the perfect solution to accentuate my skin. Ipsy sends a different Zoya nail polish frequently and that's OK in my book. These nail polishes retail for $9. I'm not sure if this is the full size or a a smaller bottle but it is definitely an ample size for nail polish. This color in Dot seems to be the perfect soft pastel pink. It seems to come out opaque, which I like (I apologize for my terribly chipped nails!). This is a great shade for the upcoming spring months. Alone these 2 products have already made up the cost of the bag and there's still 3 more items!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-zBe82QqGZsY/Uv-4zdyMJcI/AAAAAAAABQo/UVlD7euqU9w/s640/blogger-image-1552516745.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-zBe82QqGZsY/Uv-4zdyMJcI/AAAAAAAABQo/UVlD7euqU9w/s640/blogger-image-1552516745.jpg"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
This is a full size City Color Be Matte Blush in color Fresh Melon. This is A LOT of blush! These retail for $2.99. The shade is a bright pink and would probably look nice on my pale skin. I don't have too many matte blushes and hopefully this formula won't cause any breakouts. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-7n2Dee_593o/Uv-41iTPiiI/AAAAAAAABQ4/5Eqoq-mr14o/s640/blogger-image--805798950.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-7n2Dee_593o/Uv-41iTPiiI/AAAAAAAABQ4/5Eqoq-mr14o/s640/blogger-image--805798950.jpg"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
On the left we have a shadow tint from 'Tini Beauty in shade Ambrosia. This is a full size item as well and retails for $18. I live this shadow. It is a gorgeous shimmery plum color and seem like it would make a really great base to build other shadows. The formula is creamy and once dry does not budge. On the right is a deluxe sample of POP Beauty Plump Pout in Peony Petal. The full size retails for $16. I am just now getting used to wearing pink shades on my lips as I am used to either a nude lip, my natural color with a light balm, or a deep red. I haven't played with much inbetween. This is a welcome product and I can't wait to see how well it feels and holds up on my lips. The packaging is fun and although smaller it is nearly identical to the full size packaging. I like the slim design as I usually carry my lip product in my pocket for work and this should prove a sleeker alternative. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XlVz6XoUNw0/Uv-43ZkGZ3I/AAAAAAAABRI/jQrwc43rh6I/s640/blogger-image-1685585970.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XlVz6XoUNw0/Uv-43ZkGZ3I/AAAAAAAABRI/jQrwc43rh6I/s640/blogger-image-1685585970.jpg"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Here are swatches of the blush, the lip color, and the shadow. The shadow is definitely the star of this bag and I am most excited to try it out. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I am very impressed with the items Ipsy sends out each month and find the $10 cost highly justified. They also send a small makeup pouch each month and those come in useful not just for makeup but I luse them for holding chargers and electronics cords when traveling also.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I hope you enjoyed seeing what was in the Ipsy bag this month and I encourage you to try it out if you aren't already a subscriber. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">

This tunic top is from Nordstrom Rack and I also have it in olive green. If I could wear them every day I would! They are polyester and the fabric drapes nicely. I love to pair these with black leggings and a long tank top for the ultra relaxed comfortable outfit. Here I have the blue tunic with my NYDJ grey denim pants. They have a bit of stretch to them and a panel inside to help minimize the tummy pooch. Shortly after I ordered these from Hautelook one of the back pockets completely fell off! I kept it to sew it back on someday but for now I'm just rocking the single back pocket. It'll be a new trend. I still love these pants even with this flaw and feel snug as a bug in a rug. This necklace is from Lane Bryant and compliments the blue in the top. The shoes are slip resistant bow flats from Payless. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-kRUa0i45qn4/UvoI6C1uQ6I/AAAAAAAABF4/B9ljL_npmVI/s640/blogger-image--385436103.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-kRUa0i45qn4/UvoI6C1uQ6I/AAAAAAAABF4/B9ljL_npmVI/s640/blogger-image--385436103.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I always get compliments when I wear this wrap sweater. It was gifted to me by my good friend Hayley and I do not know where it is from. It is a unique piece being one long fabric rectangle with arms attached. When you put it on you cross the ends and wrap around. I always secure this look with a belt (this brown braided one is from Charming Charlie) but it can probably be left open and draped. The shirt underneath is a black mixed fabric Converse One top from Target with a half zip front closure. This top is very comfortable and versatile. The black skinny pants are from Forever21, and the black boots are from Payless. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-Eks8oxVuwLY/UvoI23JHIQI/AAAAAAAABFo/r8E-n9E_B1o/s640/blogger-image-727255644.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-Eks8oxVuwLY/UvoI23JHIQI/AAAAAAAABFo/r8E-n9E_B1o/s640/blogger-image-727255644.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I usually like to throw in a blazer at least once a week. This blazer I got on sale for $10 at Target and is a black with a hint of shimmer texture. It's a slightly stretchy material and has a single button closure in the front. It is a bit long but I think the length on my 5'7 frame works. Underneath I have a teal short sleeve top also from Target with an open zigzag pattern, and a black tank top from Old Navy. The pants are my NYDJ grey denim comfy pants. This necklace was an added gift to a Popsugar MustHave Box I received and I love how easily it wears with any outfit. It's tiny silver triangles with rhinestones and the perfect length for daily use. The earrings are a silver drop aqua blue stone that I picked up from World Market. I usually find some great earrings and necklaces from them and they always have great sales and coupons online. The shoes are black patent flats from Ross. This hairstyle is my go to everyday updo. A side twist pinned bangs and a messy side bun that I usually braid first then twist and secure with bobby pins. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I am planning to purchase a fancy camera to start YouTube videos very soon. I cannot wait to get it all figured out and be able to start posting some awesome vlogs. I also had another recipe for penne pasta bake to post with step by step and ingredient photos but being a novice blogger I forgot to take photos of the finished product! I even made it twice and told myself to remember on the second time to get the last shots needed... Only to realize once we were finished eating I hadn't taken any! I really think this waking up at 2am for work every morning is giving me a severe case of short term memory loss. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Hope you enjoyed reading.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Stay tuned for great things to come!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Til next time,</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Trish</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><h1 tag-action="brand-event-product-links /e/canon-and-nikon-69702.html?#pid_7826210" class="clearfix" style="margin: 4px 0px 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;"><div class="bwl-brands-you-love" style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; font-style: inherit; font-variant: inherit; font-weight: inherit; vertical-align: baseline; float: left; width: 20px; position: relative;"><span class="love-this-brand " data-brand-id="11055" data-status="" data-default-text="add to my favorites" data-selected-text="you love this brand" style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; font-style: inherit; font-variant: inherit; font-weight: inherit; vertical-align: baseline; position: relative; display: block; z-index: 10;"></span></div></h1></div><br></div></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div></div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15713572139716995217noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4150611905592053558.post-18257771080122702112014-02-06T20:14:00.001-08:002014-02-06T20:14:06.760-08:00Thumbs Up Thursday!<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-itXsvBPDw0k/UvRdbAR99fI/AAAAAAAAA60/cPkNFVkmPxE/s640/blogger-image-1179731295.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-itXsvBPDw0k/UvRdbAR99fI/AAAAAAAAA60/cPkNFVkmPxE/s640/blogger-image-1179731295.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Hey guys!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I realized some time ago that a friend and I send selfies to each other and thumbs up are usually involved! I'm pretty sure that's why my favorites posts are labeled Thumbs Up. I've got several fun things to share this week.<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-1qDx8JI5ic0/UvRdc7TCJTI/AAAAAAAAA7E/9St1zF39sOY/s640/blogger-image-349210299.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-1qDx8JI5ic0/UvRdc7TCJTI/AAAAAAAAA7E/9St1zF39sOY/s640/blogger-image-349210299.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I purchased the Revealed palette by Coastal Scents in a special package that included a travel brush set, a blush palette, a kabuki brush and a black liquid eyeliner for $24.95! This palette alone retails for $19.99. I got an incredible deal and am quite pleased with all of the items I received, but the main reason for the purchase was for this palette. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-mheK2oa12Wk/UvRdd-oPjLI/AAAAAAAAA7M/e4DoL_uka5c/s640/blogger-image-1291894769.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-mheK2oa12Wk/UvRdd-oPjLI/AAAAAAAAA7M/e4DoL_uka5c/s640/blogger-image-1291894769.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">It comes with 20 shadows in mostly nude/brown/gold tones. These shades are comparable to the colors in the Urban Decay Naked palettes. I do not own any of the Urban Decay Naked palettes so I can't exactly say how the quality/texture/finish adds up. I do however feel that for $19.99 this palette is awesome. Most of the colors are very pigmented and apply smoothly. The shimmers are beautiful and it includes several mattes to blend. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-jD5P07sG1R4/UvRdf8UZ4NI/AAAAAAAAA7c/KO2M6z_-nqA/s640/blogger-image--149204084.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-jD5P07sG1R4/UvRdf8UZ4NI/AAAAAAAAA7c/KO2M6z_-nqA/s640/blogger-image--149204084.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">These swatches are in order from left to right. No flash or primer was used. The black is definitely not too pigmented but would work for a smokey eye. The matte cream color on the top furthest left mostly blends into my skin tone but would be great for blending or a matte brow bone color. The shimmer cream next to it is a beautiful soft highlight. None of the shimmers have glitter chunks and they all give a nice glow to the eyelid. These shadows are very versatile and this palette is going to be part of my daily routine. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-9QfaY9UrJkU/UvRdaLjekSI/AAAAAAAAA6s/zigTKcd-eUg/s640/blogger-image--1946911503.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-9QfaY9UrJkU/UvRdaLjekSI/AAAAAAAAA6s/zigTKcd-eUg/s640/blogger-image--1946911503.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">These lip glosses from BH Cosmetics are creamy, glossy, give a bit of color to the lips and come in a great variety of colors to go with any occasion. I believe I picked them up for $2.95. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-ySZHsnZog2Y/UvRdexFIllI/AAAAAAAAA7U/MH0HT266Vs8/s640/blogger-image-1631276424.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-ySZHsnZog2Y/UvRdexFIllI/AAAAAAAAA7U/MH0HT266Vs8/s640/blogger-image-1631276424.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Top left: Classy Gal, top right: Plain Jane</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Bottom left: Studious, bottom right: Copper Crush.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Plain Jane is an amazing nude gloss. I ware it on bare lips and pair it with dramatic smokey eyes. Copper Crush is very glam. It has a slight metalic shimmer to it. This is a great girls night out shade. Classy Gal is a bright fun color and is great for the upcoming spring and summer months. The color looks more red in the tube but it translates to a poppy pink color on my lips. Studious is that perfect petal pink for when you want a kiss if color without feeling overboard. It's still a very natural color and I find myself grabbing this one to take to work with me. These glosses keep my lips hydrated and last well without having to constantly reapply. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-CQ_MZ_FM9Wo/UvRdb0ABCvI/AAAAAAAAA68/vO769-3SPOw/s640/blogger-image--1124944325.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-CQ_MZ_FM9Wo/UvRdb0ABCvI/AAAAAAAAA68/vO769-3SPOw/s640/blogger-image--1124944325.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">This nail polish is Mint Chip from Forever21. It was on sale for $1.95 and the prospect of mint chip ice cream nails was just too cute to pass up. This is such a fun color and applys fairly well although you do need at least 3 coats to make the mint opaque. I can't wait to play with different looks using this color. I'm thinking red hearts with gold heart stud for valentines? I'll have to test it to see how it looks, but will post if that combo works out. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-NKUL0QsfcbA/UvRdjYUlaAI/AAAAAAAAA78/N6pVCtI1rRo/s640/blogger-image-1215534637.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-NKUL0QsfcbA/UvRdjYUlaAI/AAAAAAAAA78/N6pVCtI1rRo/s640/blogger-image-1215534637.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Thumbs up to this restaurant that just opened recently near my work. This amazing combo of fresh fruit cocktail (papaya, strawberry, grape, blackberry, pineapple, blueberries) with plain Greek yogurt, honey drizzle, and chopped pecans is my favorite breakfast. I eat it almost every day! <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-gGnKJoB7TzY/UvRdioxn_ZI/AAAAAAAAA70/RAqm2XJFDV8/s640/blogger-image--642791865.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-gGnKJoB7TzY/UvRdioxn_ZI/AAAAAAAAA70/RAqm2XJFDV8/s640/blogger-image--642791865.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">At the end of a long day I love to unwind with a hot soothing cup of chamomile tea. I found this blend by Celestial Seasoning that includes spearmint and lemongrass with natural vanilla flavor. It's called Sleepytime because the combination of these herbals should promote relaxation and help fall asleep easier. I have found I seem to sleep deeper the nights that I drink this tea before bed. Since I have been drinking it nightly I wake up easier too because I think I am getting better rest at night. Maybe it's all in my head but if it works or not I still absolutely love sitting with the piping, sweet cup of tea while my body and mind relax from the days events. I also have a mug addiction and any excuse to use one of my lovely mugs is welcome in my book. Thumbs up to the mint colored hand glazed owl mug I found on ModCloth. I think it was around $12 and was offered in a few colors. I am just infatuated with the sheer cuteness of him. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">My thumbs down this week was a product that several years ago I had given a huge thumbs up to and worked great for me. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-rGBdJoPytww/UvRdguNrnaI/AAAAAAAAA7k/jZVg82Oz9tA/s640/blogger-image--17210553.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-rGBdJoPytww/UvRdguNrnaI/AAAAAAAAA7k/jZVg82Oz9tA/s640/blogger-image--17210553.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I first received the Makeup Forever Sens'Eyes waterproof eye makeup remover in a gift set for Christmas about 5 years ago. It was a small deluxe sample size. As soon as I used it I fell in love. It worked amazing at removing all of my eye makeup and did not irritate my eyes. At the time I did not have the funds to purchase the full size which retails for $24. Just recently I had a gift card for sephora and decided I wanted to purchase this product because I loved it so much years ago. I have no idea if their formula changed, or if my skin changed, but there were several things wrong with this remover. It does not seem to remove any of my mascara from my lashes without having to rub vigorously. I noticed the more I used this the more raw my eyes felt and the skin around my eye began to sting and turn red. I did not have this problem before and I am extremely disappointed that for some reason it just doesn't work out any more. </div></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">My #TBT this week is from my "little" brothers graduation!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-ijlflwzy8uI/UvRdhjxXkII/AAAAAAAAA7s/nMqQ1T3ZCRI/s640/blogger-image-640706335.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-ijlflwzy8uI/UvRdhjxXkII/AAAAAAAAA7s/nMqQ1T3ZCRI/s640/blogger-image-640706335.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I'm 5 years his senior and he's 5 ft taller than me! Each week I choose 3 of my work outfits to share with you. I realize the lighting is terrible but this is the only full length mirror I have access to (someday I will have one at home to take photos before I go in!) I do feel pretty silly taking selfies at work sometimes. Having to be to work by 3AM I hardly ever get to work on my makeup/hair. Once I'm more set up for these posts from home I will be able to take photos of other outfits throughout the week. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-f9zEJrZF2Uk/UvDMURZmRlI/AAAAAAAAAz4/evxZuL3tVMs/s640/blogger-image-1915230157.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-f9zEJrZF2Uk/UvDMURZmRlI/AAAAAAAAAz4/evxZuL3tVMs/s640/blogger-image-1915230157.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">This combination was prett effortless and quite comfortable. I paired my favorite black skinny jeans from Target with a cream and olive striped top from Ross. Finished with a black rhinestone embellished cardigan from Target. These shoes are my favorite black patent flats from Ross, and the spike studs are from Forever21. I love how these earrings add an edgy touch to any outfit. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-sO-0Dr1LfGM/UvDMV34Di5I/AAAAAAAAA0A/sFqc1EyrTcw/s640/blogger-image--713382975.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-sO-0Dr1LfGM/UvDMV34Di5I/AAAAAAAAA0A/sFqc1EyrTcw/s640/blogger-image--713382975.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I am really enjoying this slightly metalic black blazer I picked up for $10 on sale at Target. It has just a hint of stretch and is very comfortable. There is one button closure and I like the shape it creates. Underneath I have a fuchsia button up top from Old Navy. These pants are a charcoal grey work pant that I found at Nordstrom Rack. The heart charm necklace is from Zulily, and the shoes are the same patent black from Ross. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-fvsqFyI326M/UvDMRyjhhAI/AAAAAAAAAzo/EbduVMwXK2g/s640/blogger-image--259146922.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-fvsqFyI326M/UvDMRyjhhAI/AAAAAAAAAzo/EbduVMwXK2g/s640/blogger-image--259146922.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I love this Angie patterned top from Hautelook. The color compliments my eyes and the pattern is reminiscent of peacock feathers. It super soft. I chose this tan colored blazer I found at Burlington Coat Factory and my heathered brown Gap pants to complete this look. The brown Clark's shoes are from Ross. The spike necklace and jade earrings are from World Market. I have found some of my favorite accessory pieces from World Market and I love their home goods too. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Thanks for stopping by today. Again I look forward to a better set up where I can take better quality photos, play more with outfits, makeup and hair, and bring you more exciting looks. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Til next time,</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Trish</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div></div></div></div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15713572139716995217noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4150611905592053558.post-52899910821874520472014-02-01T09:37:00.001-08:002014-02-01T09:37:35.333-08:005 Pepper Pot of Chili<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-Ksncvkb3c9M/Uu0w0KHQOwI/AAAAAAAAAss/_khS6m24tOM/s640/blogger-image--1655102755.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-Ksncvkb3c9M/Uu0w0KHQOwI/AAAAAAAAAss/_khS6m24tOM/s640/blogger-image--1655102755.jpg"></a></div>Hey guys, just in time for Super Bowl Sunday, I've got a kick-ass chili recipe that is sure to be a crowd pleaser and is a breeze to whip up just in time for kickoff. <div>I have tweeked a recipe found in The Good Housekeeping Illustrated Cookbook* to suit our chili preferences. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-c6Ud7Wmj69Q/Uu0wy6pZLpI/AAAAAAAAAsk/5dyD6b5kkdA/s640/blogger-image-1366917314.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-c6Ud7Wmj69Q/Uu0wy6pZLpI/AAAAAAAAAsk/5dyD6b5kkdA/s640/blogger-image-1366917314.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">The ingredients you will need are </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">-2 TBS olive oil (not pictured)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">-2lbs lean ground beef (we like to use 90/10) </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">-1 large onion chopped</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">- a variety of green peppers chopped (here you can add as much or as little as you like. We like about 2 cups of peppers added and I chose poblano, Anaheim, and Serrano for my green peppers)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">- 2 large garlic cloves</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">- a teaspoon or so of Crushed red pepper flakes (also to taste)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">-(2) 16oz cans of tomatoes (diced, crushed, or whole cut up)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">-1/2 cup chili powder</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">-1tsp of salt</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">-a few dashes cayenne powder (depending on if the peppers aren't hot enough for you)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">- a few shakes of garlic powder</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">-(2) 16oz cans of pinto beans</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">- My Secret Ingredient (not pictured, read below)<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-gxWn6Dwwaoo/Uu0wvMbxE9I/AAAAAAAAAsU/752ezfXjzE0/s640/blogger-image-1858778042.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-gxWn6Dwwaoo/Uu0wvMbxE9I/AAAAAAAAAsU/752ezfXjzE0/s640/blogger-image-1858778042.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Rough chop your peppers and onion while your oil is heating on medium high heat in a 5 quart Dutch oven or soup pot. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-h3RlIJPDNCw/Uu0wtLQPLlI/AAAAAAAAAsM/CRVRj2reKpc/s640/blogger-image-4514222.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-h3RlIJPDNCw/Uu0wtLQPLlI/AAAAAAAAAsM/CRVRj2reKpc/s640/blogger-image-4514222.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Sauté the 2 together about 10 minutes until tender and just barely turning translucent.<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-QC2-hXDx6GQ/Uu0w1brJ9LI/AAAAAAAAAs0/-4t6YDMv57w/s640/blogger-image-1666490351.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-QC2-hXDx6GQ/Uu0w1brJ9LI/AAAAAAAAAs0/-4t6YDMv57w/s640/blogger-image-1666490351.jpg"></a></div>Add the ground beef and garlic and cook until all the meet is browned.<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-aYnBoxwuBOs/Uu0wxuf2jYI/AAAAAAAAAsc/LRvcrCJzTxw/s640/blogger-image-2025467090.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-aYnBoxwuBOs/Uu0wxuf2jYI/AAAAAAAAAsc/LRvcrCJzTxw/s640/blogger-image-2025467090.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">At this stage you will add your tomatoes with their liquid and all your spices. Stir to combine, turn the heat to medium low and simmer for 1 hour, sitting occasionally. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-lqHuipD4G-Q/Uu0w2aRjjXI/AAAAAAAAAs8/3mZOZjRJLiA/s640/blogger-image--1690653653.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-lqHuipD4G-Q/Uu0w2aRjjXI/AAAAAAAAAs8/3mZOZjRJLiA/s640/blogger-image--1690653653.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">After 1 hour add your pinto beans with their liquid and allow to heat through 15-20 minutes. This is where the secret ingredient comes in. Take 1-2 pickled jalapeños (depending on how much heat you want) dice and add them with a tablespoon of the juice. This touch adds great flavor and really ties the dish together. During this last cooking stage throw together a quick batch of cornbread muffins (we like Martha White cornbread mix, and just follow the directions on the pouch). Once your muffins are ready the chili is good to go. Top each bowl with shredded cheddar cheese.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Voila! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-gD4EQ6WkXCE/Uu0wq_O3lBI/AAAAAAAAAsE/Xu1rsrnC4cM/s640/blogger-image-107958957.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-gD4EQ6WkXCE/Uu0wq_O3lBI/AAAAAAAAAsE/Xu1rsrnC4cM/s640/blogger-image-107958957.jpg"></a></div>Hardy and delicious, great for cold winter nights, this chili will keep you toasty warm. These retail for $95! Granted I am IN LOVE with these ultra pigmented shadows, my budget conscious self can not possibly fathom spending that amount of money on any singular item let alone a piece of makeup.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I was privileged to receive this in my Limited edition Neiman Marcus Popsugar box and am thrilled to get to try something so luxurious. I looked around to find the names of these colors but nothing surfaced. The website does have different color combinations for the Kaleidescope set and you can find YouTube videos about how to apply the shadows to really take advantage of the multidimensional "Kaleidescope" effect.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="http://www.lemetierdebeaute.com/">http://www.lemetierdebeaute.com/</a> in case you'd like to check them out!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-5B48ktjY-zg/UuvMZ0gjEgI/AAAAAAAAAqs/Hqri5yH28U8/s640/blogger-image-309165984.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-5B48ktjY-zg/UuvMZ0gjEgI/AAAAAAAAAqs/Hqri5yH28U8/s640/blogger-image-309165984.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">The shadows were swatched with primer. I love the density of these. The light beige-gold color on the left is now my favorite highlight and inner corner color. It has a hint of peachy to it and when applied lightly just gives a nice soft shimmer. The bright bold pinks in the middle are great for the outer lid and crease and blend really well together to create a beautiful ombré effect. This black shadow is something else. I have mixed feelings here. It is finicky but oh so fierce! I have learned that I must apply this shadow before ANY other makeup due to its fallout. Fallout that cannot be simply brushed away. Fallout that smears black streaks across your face anywhere it falls. Despite this downfall I LOVE this black. It is intense, sultry, bold, and smoky. When all necessary precautions are taken to avoid streaks this black makes an awesome outer V color. Once applied it DOES NOT BUDGE. At all. All day. Seriously.<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Yk_AdHOik_8/UuvXFY_yO4I/AAAAAAAAArs/6TQ0tW4bFTw/s640/blogger-image--659862732.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Yk_AdHOik_8/UuvXFY_yO4I/AAAAAAAAArs/6TQ0tW4bFTw/s640/blogger-image--659862732.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Here I used scotch tape to create a sharp cat eye with the black shadow. I used the dark pink right above the black and blended with the light pink toward the crease. I smoked out the black shadow a bit and applied the beigey golden shimmer to the inner corner and brow bone. I took these photos after an 10 hour work day and you can see the shadows are still complete, no smudging under my eye. This color combination would be perfect for a Valentines look. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I love these shadows and I find myself reaching for them daily. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-9OL3vFkgFmg/UuvXAJpZRfI/AAAAAAAAArA/NrQzC9h-I44/s640/blogger-image-1927148994.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-9OL3vFkgFmg/UuvXAJpZRfI/AAAAAAAAArA/NrQzC9h-I44/s640/blogger-image-1927148994.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I have always loved wine hued nail polishes. Deep burgundies reminiscent of a bold glass of Merlot. I layered this deep berry cream color from Nails Inc. with a smokey sheer black with red shimmer polish from Julep. The combination of the 2 creates a rich full-bodied burgundy. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I received the Nails Inc polish in a Glossybox and am a Julep Maven subscriber where I get a few new polishes each month.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Both of these boxes are great and they have really made it possible for me to try out awesome products. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-seCU18lmYPA/UuvXETjPg2I/AAAAAAAAArk/08jmrM8UZQc/s640/blogger-image-2051361423.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-seCU18lmYPA/UuvXETjPg2I/AAAAAAAAArk/08jmrM8UZQc/s640/blogger-image-2051361423.jpg"></a></div></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">While organizing my Julep collection I stumbled upon these gems that I ordered on sale shortly after Halloween. I have never used crackle nail polishes before so I picked these up to try them out. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-MhnQ9EpzLvI/UuvXDcJlihI/AAAAAAAAArc/WV-XzbOJTd8/s640/blogger-image-222298487.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-MhnQ9EpzLvI/UuvXDcJlihI/AAAAAAAAArc/WV-XzbOJTd8/s640/blogger-image-222298487.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I decided to layer them over a hot pink base to hopefully make the crackle pop!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I love how the texture came out after only a few swipes of the brush. The orange combination is perfect for a fun beachy summer look. I think I will paint my nails with either the black or the silver for valentines day, although the white would be awesome with a red heart painted on top! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-F1hvwhYj5aQ/UuvXBALJGoI/AAAAAAAAArM/BFkfTaj2L2Y/s640/blogger-image-1010265126.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-F1hvwhYj5aQ/UuvXBALJGoI/AAAAAAAAArM/BFkfTaj2L2Y/s640/blogger-image-1010265126.jpg"></a></div>I love food! A big thumbs up for these herbed French bread pizza toasts. I took a loaf of rosemary olive oil French bread from Target and placed them under the broiler just until the edges began to brown. I slathered each toast with a roasted red pepper tapenade, laid a few thin slices of muenster cheese, and topped each with some pepperoni slices. Back under the broiler until the cheese is hot, bubbly, and brown around the edges. Holy yum! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">This is a delicious indulgence any time of the day!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">My thumbs down this week is also somewhat food related.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-6YssER8ARWQ/UuvXGFQu9SI/AAAAAAAAAr0/4FFl1KIUx-I/s640/blogger-image--1876566277.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-6YssER8ARWQ/UuvXGFQu9SI/AAAAAAAAAr0/4FFl1KIUx-I/s640/blogger-image--1876566277.jpg"></a></div>I grew up drinking artificial sweeteners and Splenda was always the first choice for taste. The last few years I had found a new sweetener called Ideal. It is amazing. Simply sweet and very natural tasting, better than real sugar! One day a few weeks ago I ran out and kept putting off buying more. Honey to sweeten my coffee just wasn't cutting it and I really try to stay away from refined white sugar. I finally broke down and ran to the nearest store to get more sweetener. All they had was this bag of Splenda granules. I knew I previously likes Splenda so I picked it up. When I tried this in my espresso I nearly spit it out! It was disgusting! I used the same Splenda to sweeten iced tea and it tasted fine. I <span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">don't know if the acidic nature of the bold espresso I make caused the flavor to warp or what, but very time I add it to my coffee I want to gag. </span></div>Thumbs down to Splenda sweetened espresso! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Even though it is Friday, I was going to include these #TBT pictures in my post yesterday so I will still add them today!<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-BSPJtgLv8HQ/UuvW-yGxaII/AAAAAAAAAq8/_YzTg8LnSGk/s640/blogger-image-1773836864.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-BSPJtgLv8HQ/UuvW-yGxaII/AAAAAAAAAq8/_YzTg8LnSGk/s640/blogger-image-1773836864.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">My circle of friends at our highschool graduation.</div></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-yRG-tAE39UU/UuvXCCFG1ZI/AAAAAAAAArU/eJ4bpUXrx6s/s640/blogger-image-1821711818.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-yRG-tAE39UU/UuvXCCFG1ZI/AAAAAAAAArU/eJ4bpUXrx6s/s640/blogger-image-1821711818.jpg"></a>Some more of us striking a pose on our way to project Graduation.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Good times!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Hope you enjoyed reading this post!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">(albeit a day later)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Til next time,</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Trish</div><br></div></div></div><br></div></div><br></div></div><br>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15713572139716995217noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4150611905592053558.post-81089727513793863832014-01-30T20:32:00.001-08:002014-01-30T20:32:41.002-08:00Super sad face, stupid phone.I JUST finished typing a lengthy Thumbs Up Thursday post with great pics and awesome descriptions and was adding the tags before publishing it and MY PHONE DIED. I LOST EVERYTHING. I have the pictures still saved of course but there's no way I could recreate my original post full of poetic prose. I know no one else has a clue what my original post originally said but I will forever know that it was great and no subsequent post of similar content will add up to its greatness. GAHHHHHHH!<div><br></div><div>Because it is now almost Friday and my brain is spent and I'd like to stew in my solo pity party for a few hours I am going to go to sleep and start fresh on a Thumbs Up Yesterday post tomorrow. Yep. </div><div>So mad right now.</div><div><br></div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15713572139716995217noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4150611905592053558.post-8745061326653385072014-01-28T15:38:00.001-08:002014-01-28T15:38:46.977-08:00Outfit of the week<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-xg_V8UfLH9Q/Uug_dk2PnMI/AAAAAAAAApw/OptWkRMjpxk/s640/blogger-image-1772251763.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-xg_V8UfLH9Q/Uug_dk2PnMI/AAAAAAAAApw/OptWkRMjpxk/s640/blogger-image-1772251763.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Hello!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I've got 3 more outfits to show today. This week was all about earth tones. I really love tans and olive greens. I have been told that the olive colors compliment my light skin.<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-jvpmlaHroJ4/Uug_hbX435I/AAAAAAAAAqI/IJn6PqhHY6w/s640/blogger-image--1582545765.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-jvpmlaHroJ4/Uug_hbX435I/AAAAAAAAAqI/IJn6PqhHY6w/s640/blogger-image--1582545765.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">You may have seen an outfit like this before but I chose to add this pic because it shows the tops color better and the detail on the sleeve. This shirt is from Zulily. It is comfortable, fits well and the color is amazing. It has a slight sheen but not shiny. I almost always pair this top with the featured scarf because they compliment each other so well. I got the scarf from Shoptiques.com using a gift card I received from a Popsugar MustHave box. It was less than $3 and that was the shipping! I know I mention Popsugar a lot but it is worth it! These jeans from Zulily have become my favorite pair, fit extremely well, and I always feel good wearing them. The shoes are brown Clark's flats that I found at Ross. The earings are a jade stone with gold tone wire that I picked up from World Market. They are my second favorite pair of earrings. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-QbaWGJW-wNQ/Uug_fEY8ZhI/AAAAAAAAAp4/73LfOBQzsxQ/s640/blogger-image-1306405116.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-QbaWGJW-wNQ/Uug_fEY8ZhI/AAAAAAAAAp4/73LfOBQzsxQ/s640/blogger-image-1306405116.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I've finally worked up the courage to wear the tribal print sweater that I picked up from Forever 21. When I first tried it on I felt it looked too boxy, with the help of the brown braided belt I found at Charming Charlie it gave me some shape. Also the wider leg on these heathered brown Gap pants balanced the volume up top. I had several people tell me they liked my sweater and I feel more confident about being able to pull it off. The shoes and earrings are the same from the first outfit.<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-bP4vFocc000/Uug_gdfRd-I/AAAAAAAAAqA/Bn-OKdWn660/s640/blogger-image-1402574635.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-bP4vFocc000/Uug_gdfRd-I/AAAAAAAAAqA/Bn-OKdWn660/s640/blogger-image-1402574635.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">No great work week is complete without a blazer! This one is a forest green color and I found it from Zulily. I also have it in black. It is a cropped, 3/4 sleeve style. Underneath I have a light knit gray and black short sleeve sweater from Ross. As usual these are the dark gray NYDJ pants that I love and turn to most often. The shoes are a patent black flat from Ross. The silver pennant necklace is from Baublebar.com gifted through one of my Popsugar boxes. It's not too bold but not so dainty that it can't be seen. It's an everyday piece and a welcome addition to my growing collection of accessories. The earrings are a light teal blue with silver wire from World Market.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Most of my clothes and accessories come from the same stores but when I find a store that carries unique quality pieces at reasonable prices I go back as frequent as possible. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><br></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Hope <span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">this has given you some ideas on where to look for cool stuff. It's sometimes hard to find clothes etc. on a tight budget but that's the fun in bargain shopping!</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><br></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Thanks for reading.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Til next time,</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Trish</span></div></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div></div><br>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15713572139716995217noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4150611905592053558.post-75195954869125666522014-01-26T03:27:00.001-08:002014-01-26T03:27:17.638-08:00Sushi date!<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-PCqpaIuaSA0/UuTxB-BB-RI/AAAAAAAAApE/0N5y-Btg05g/s640/blogger-image--114733648.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-PCqpaIuaSA0/UuTxB-BB-RI/AAAAAAAAApE/0N5y-Btg05g/s640/blogger-image--114733648.jpg"></a></div>Hello again!<div>A few weeks ago Ryan and I went on a pretty fun and entertaining date night where we got to MAKE SUSHI. I found the deal through the Amazon Local App. They offered a sushi making class at a local Japanese restaurant for half amount it usually costs. I believe I paid $70 for the two of us which is close to what our sushi dinners run and this time WE made it ourselves. So awesome. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-X7IvemzDdqg/UuTw-RH8w0I/AAAAAAAAAos/FGsiko-HLWI/s640/blogger-image-335434154.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-X7IvemzDdqg/UuTw-RH8w0I/AAAAAAAAAos/FGsiko-HLWI/s640/blogger-image-335434154.jpg"></a></div></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">When we arrived we sat at a booth across from another couple and were given these trays assembled with the items we'd need throughout the class with a description card of the three different rolls we would be making. The couple across from us were fun to talk to and we really enjoyed being able to laugh and share a good time with one another. We paired the night with a few cold ones and we were set!<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-Bk2gzV_AzzU/UuTxDxsukWI/AAAAAAAAApU/LnylRineqGs/s640/blogger-image--750738357.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-Bk2gzV_AzzU/UuTxDxsukWI/AAAAAAAAApU/LnylRineqGs/s640/blogger-image--750738357.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Action cam!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">While we were making the rolls the owner of the restaurant was demonstrating and explaining what to do. I've been feeling a bit under the weather and wasn't able to photograph all the items I wanted so there's a few less than usual. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-97WcipWZK_s/UuHD6H5NC5I/AAAAAAAAAns/z1dttfqq1Ic/s640/blogger-image-456850625.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-97WcipWZK_s/UuHD6H5NC5I/AAAAAAAAAns/z1dttfqq1Ic/s640/blogger-image-456850625.jpg"></a></div></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">This is the Mally Lip Magnifier in color tulip. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-r0FLtvN1fOI/UuHDt-jI-II/AAAAAAAAAnM/zJdRIIaaCKY/s640/blogger-image-560220555.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-r0FLtvN1fOI/UuHDt-jI-II/AAAAAAAAAnM/zJdRIIaaCKY/s640/blogger-image-560220555.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">It is seriously amazing. It keeps my lips soft, and seems to make them appear plump without too much shine. It has a subtle color but overall looks best right on bare lips. It creates the softest pink <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-kO0PyyKV5UE/UuHD7dLhq0I/AAAAAAAAAn0/-_OdUZUPcEM/s640/blogger-image-652560799.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-kO0PyyKV5UE/UuHD7dLhq0I/AAAAAAAAAn0/-_OdUZUPcEM/s640/blogger-image-652560799.jpg"></a></div>kissable lips. I received this in a birchbox and would absolutely consider picking up a few more shades because the formula is amazing. Each crayon sells for $20 and this color is perfect for a natural lip and would look awesome with a dark smoky eye. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-oXd8lXdQgtQ/UuHD-GWiALI/AAAAAAAAAoE/-5a0THrs0W8/s640/blogger-image--1286162635.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-oXd8lXdQgtQ/UuHD-GWiALI/AAAAAAAAAoE/-5a0THrs0W8/s640/blogger-image--1286162635.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">The next thing I'm loving this week is a set of soaps that my sister gifted me for Christmas from a local shop. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-xc06SayN_aM/UuHDsfOiprI/AAAAAAAAAnE/EZLyuhh3iMs/s640/blogger-image--884907040.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-xc06SayN_aM/UuHDsfOiprI/AAAAAAAAAnE/EZLyuhh3iMs/s640/blogger-image--884907040.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">These smell fantastic.<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-B2QxzDRds7M/UuHD347570I/AAAAAAAAAnc/sEjKJrrEhaY/s640/blogger-image-1216677385.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-B2QxzDRds7M/UuHD347570I/AAAAAAAAAnc/sEjKJrrEhaY/s640/blogger-image-1216677385.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">My favorite is the Frosted Cranberry. It's fresh and rich and when I showered it left the faintest glimmer of frosty scent and my skin was super soft. It rinsed off well and didn't feel too squeaky or too slick. These are HUGE and should last a while even using daily. I am looking forward to trying the Honey Oatmeal with cornmeal it will be useful for exfoliating. The lemon ginseng smells so fresh and it would be perfect for morning showers to invigorate the senses and wake you up. I looked up the website for information and it seems you can pick these up for $10 a piece. They make a fancy gift and definitely worth the splurge to indulge in these luxurious scented suds. Thumbs up to my sister for such a nice gift, thanks Shell!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">As I said before I was hoping to add a few more but I shall talk about the other thumbs up next week. I do have a thumbs down this week. Like last week it's a product I was really hoping to love. It's actually not a complete fail, I just will have to limit use. <a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-GSRpOQDfAhk/UuHD5LGdeCI/AAAAAAAAAnk/vqHBfYTROXQ/s640/blogger-image-41635218.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif; margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-GSRpOQDfAhk/UuHD5LGdeCI/AAAAAAAAAnk/vqHBfYTROXQ/s640/blogger-image-41635218.jpg"></a><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I bought 3 Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector lip treatments. They look VERY nice on my lips and I had been using them all day every day for a week solid. I assumed they were going to be ultra-hydrating for my lips. WRONG. These dried my lips so bad they started to crack and burn whenever I wasn't wearing it. I've read reviews where people layered these over another product to give a slight sheen to the lip and make them look fuller. It absolutely works at making the lips look plump and full. I like that about them. I wish I didn't have to use another product to keep my lips from chapping. Perhaps if I constantly remember to apply my chap stick every night and after application I'll be ok to continue regular use. It seems like a pretty tedious lipgloss though. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Overall I'm very pleased with the Mally lip crayon and would much rather use it instead of the Clarins, it gives almost the same effect and does not dry out my lips. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Here's a few #TBT from my highschool prom</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-3uBo__gsNC0/UuHD8mIqSTI/AAAAAAAAAn8/u0EUVzxmixc/s640/blogger-image-993337825.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-3uBo__gsNC0/UuHD8mIqSTI/AAAAAAAAAn8/u0EUVzxmixc/s640/blogger-image-993337825.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">We decided to go in a big group of girls and guys so no one had to worry about having a date. <br><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-3uBo__gsNC0/UuHD8mIqSTI/AAAAAAAAAn8/u0EUVzxmixc/s640/blogger-image-993337825.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></a><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-WUm3SiQ7XTA/UuHD_QpL1LI/AAAAAAAAAoM/PIVrNYeHAn4/s640/blogger-image--576492960.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-WUm3SiQ7XTA/UuHD_QpL1LI/AAAAAAAAAoM/PIVrNYeHAn4/s640/blogger-image--576492960.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Lovely ladies!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Thanks for stopping in!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Til next time,</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Trish</div></div><br></div></div></div></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div></div></div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15713572139716995217noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4150611905592053558.post-15874814597571192182014-01-21T03:09:00.001-08:002014-01-21T03:09:57.253-08:00Outfit of the Week<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-7i_uHt5SQ9U/Ut5VVdb9yRI/AAAAAAAAAmc/77RAGtgE084/s640/blogger-image--1377024610.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-7i_uHt5SQ9U/Ut5VVdb9yRI/AAAAAAAAAmc/77RAGtgE084/s640/blogger-image--1377024610.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Hello again! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">It's time for another #OOTW. This week I really let my hair down, and even broke the slip resistant rule and wore riding boots. Sometimes you just have to do your own thing.<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-j5yTMHRojcA/Ut5VWQNs3jI/AAAAAAAAAmk/xa_or10BNHc/s640/blogger-image-37976001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-j5yTMHRojcA/Ut5VWQNs3jI/AAAAAAAAAmk/xa_or10BNHc/s640/blogger-image-37976001.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">This outfit was quite comfortable. The black pants and shirt are from my Forever21 haul and they both fit and feel amazing. I love the zipper detail on the top (although it is somewhat hard to see here). The boots are Enzo Angiolini brown buckle riding boots and I picked them up from Macys a few years ago. This sweater is one of my favorites and I bought it from Kohls a while back. It's open style and drapes nicely. The color is the prefect mix of burgundy and purple. The necklace is a chunky gold tone chain with heart pendant (I also have in silver) and I got it from Zulily. I get compliments on both of them any time I wear them. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-NgryjkSNcFg/Ut5VYfp6ALI/AAAAAAAAAm0/-6NZuiqHl-U/s640/blogger-image-2097719799.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-NgryjkSNcFg/Ut5VYfp6ALI/AAAAAAAAAm0/-6NZuiqHl-U/s640/blogger-image-2097719799.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">This shirt is one of my absolute favorite tops. It's from the Lauren Conrad LC clothing line at Kohls. It's chiffon fabric and feels light and airy when I wear it. The pants are the gray NYDJ that I'm so accustomed to wearing and the shoes are black patent flats I picked up from Ross. This necklace was gifted to me by my lovely friend Hayley several years ago, it's gold tone chain with white pearl-like hearts. It goes with everything and I wear it all the time. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-MUUfMyImECU/Ut5VXIDorFI/AAAAAAAAAms/ANLfV1xFFt4/s640/blogger-image-951952982.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-MUUfMyImECU/Ut5VXIDorFI/AAAAAAAAAms/ANLfV1xFFt4/s640/blogger-image-951952982.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">This look is my "today is going to be a chill kind of day" outfit. I have this tunic from Nordstrom Rack in blue as well and I am so glad I bought both of them. It's not uncommon for me to reach for these several times a week. They are extremely versatile and comfortable. They are long enough to be worn with leggings and just come over the bum, but not so long that it drowns my body. It's got a gathered detail on the shoulders and and button tabs to keep the sleeves back. I love olive green and I think it compliments my skin tone. I paired it with the black skinny pants from Forever21 and a gold tone chain with gold leaf charms. The shoes are the black patent flats from Ross again. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Hope you enjoyed seeing what I wore this week. If anyone has suggestions on what they'd like to see comment below. I have some awesome stuff planned for February; nail tutorials, DIY clothes and furniture, COOKIE decorating! I am always looking for new ideas also :)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Thanks for reading!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Til next time,</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Trish</div></div></div></div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15713572139716995217noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4150611905592053558.post-38324768033152506762014-01-20T02:14:00.001-08:002014-01-20T11:36:31.257-08:00January 2014 Popsugar MustHave Unboxing<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-oT8j41WwMxk/Ut16qP6wQEI/AAAAAAAAAlM/fGtjZnu0k14/s640/blogger-image--1072587646.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-oT8j41WwMxk/Ut16qP6wQEI/AAAAAAAAAlM/fGtjZnu0k14/s640/blogger-image--1072587646.jpg"></a></div><br></div>Hey there, <div>I received my Popsugar MustHave January box yesterday and I wanted to show you what they've sent this month. I rave a lot about the things I've gotten in past boxes and I really think it's the most exciting subscription box, just above Glossybox. I think the price is worth what you receive. They don't just send beauty items, they always include a little bit of everything, it's like your birthday every month. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-_dm4C9EnVPQ/Utz25zITzsI/AAAAAAAAAkk/AxnpTx5CO3s/s640/blogger-image-1751893595.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-_dm4C9EnVPQ/Utz25zITzsI/AAAAAAAAAkk/AxnpTx5CO3s/s640/blogger-image-1751893595.jpg"></a></div></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Drum roll please!<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-aobmpCT2nZY/Utz26_H4kgI/AAAAAAAAAks/MPhmoSmH26k/s640/blogger-image--1063546601.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-aobmpCT2nZY/Utz26_H4kgI/AAAAAAAAAks/MPhmoSmH26k/s640/blogger-image--1063546601.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Some pretty neat stuff this month!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-4t07UyGB-n4/Ut16vf2GarI/AAAAAAAAAl8/T8v82m4GDPc/s640/blogger-image--801430696.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-4t07UyGB-n4/Ut16vf2GarI/AAAAAAAAAl8/T8v82m4GDPc/s640/blogger-image--801430696.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">This is the Malin + Goetz Detox Face Mask. It claims to hydrate and brighten your complexion. I'm pretty excited to give this a try. It's a full size product, and from their website it retails for $40. That's more than the whole box cost! Absolutely an awesome item to receive. I might post a review or include it in a Thumbs Up (or down) Thursday. We'll see!<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-1YSVd6Mi28I/Ut16tVwtmXI/AAAAAAAAAls/tXyYPi68Kls/s640/blogger-image--391270107.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-1YSVd6Mi28I/Ut16tVwtmXI/AAAAAAAAAls/tXyYPi68Kls/s640/blogger-image--391270107.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">The Juice Generation book looks amazing. It's a juicing recipe cookbook and I sure am glad I bought a juicer a year or so ago and will be able to start trying out these tasties soon! It's awesome quality, full of photos and overall another great find in this box. I love when they send books and knick knacks too, once I've got it I've got it, no running out and having to repurchase if I like it. On amazon.com you can purchase this book for $16. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-Sl4MYMCck6Q/Ut16q70zpaI/AAAAAAAAAlU/FCA1GAOb2dQ/s640/blogger-image-1432528540.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-Sl4MYMCck6Q/Ut16q70zpaI/AAAAAAAAAlU/FCA1GAOb2dQ/s640/blogger-image-1432528540.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">This 2014 Flip Around the World desk calendar by Rifle Paper Co. is super cute. It's flip style pages with each month have charming illustrations of world famous cities. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-HLl_g3ZxiLU/Ut16srjE4AI/AAAAAAAAAlk/8K3jTonLp8g/s640/blogger-image--630470131.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-HLl_g3ZxiLU/Ut16srjE4AI/AAAAAAAAAlk/8K3jTonLp8g/s640/blogger-image--630470131.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">The details in each drawing are precious and this is something I could totally see myself turning into greeting cards once that month has passed. This calendar retails for $16 from the Rifle Paper Co. website. Popsugar also included a 10% coupon off future purchase. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-4rOZHFIBcD8/Ut16pNRoG5I/AAAAAAAAAlE/q8_n9SQX0Do/s640/blogger-image-1015764060.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-4rOZHFIBcD8/Ut16pNRoG5I/AAAAAAAAAlE/q8_n9SQX0Do/s640/blogger-image-1015764060.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">This is Revlon by Marchesa Box O' Files. It's just larger than a matchbox and contains 6 dainty nail files for the girl on the go. Can't wait to throw these in my bag for mani-mergencies! You can pick some up for $3.50 at Target. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-zf8lEmMWURc/Ut16urOeepI/AAAAAAAAAl0/SAo6VJJrMuM/s640/blogger-image--545244626.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-zf8lEmMWURc/Ut16urOeepI/AAAAAAAAAl0/SAo6VJJrMuM/s640/blogger-image--545244626.jpg"></a></div></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">These tech gloves from Jack + Lucy are a nice addition to the box. This style glove is pretty popular and this particular pair is gender neutral and could even be embellished to give them a personal character. I could not find information about where to get these or how much they cost but overall I'm not disappointed in getting these in my box. The only thing is I shall have to wait for December this year to be able to wear them in South Texas! They may go into a gift pile that I could send to my family up north. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-wD5nNzYyzec/Ut16risbEmI/AAAAAAAAAlc/BisFwfCMRO0/s640/blogger-image--1382190993.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-wD5nNzYyzec/Ut16risbEmI/AAAAAAAAAlc/BisFwfCMRO0/s640/blogger-image--1382190993.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">The last item in the box was this huge bag of Pipsnacks White Truffle Pipcorn. Popsugar usually includes some kind of snack in the box and this is pretty neat. I've never seen mini popcorn but can't wait to try it out. This popcorn costs $6 per bag and can be found at their website Pipsnacks.com. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Wow! This box was an amazing value for me. I know I will get use out of everything in the box. All together the box comes to around $82 without including the gloves since I don't know how much they are. I got this box in a 3 month subscription for $35 dollars per month. I essentially saved about $50! I have been impressed each month with popsugar and it really has been my favorite and most enjoyable sub box to get each month. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Thanks for stopping by!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Til next time,</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Trish</div></div></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div></div></div></div><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div></div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15713572139716995217noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4150611905592053558.post-90774851357417032522014-01-19T03:21:00.001-08:002014-01-19T03:21:16.754-08:00Forever 21 Haul!<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-xv7dDY542jo/Utu0-8S8sEI/AAAAAAAAAhE/XWPqERNF5e0/s640/blogger-image-819637047.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><br></a><span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-XEl0KzArmAw/Utu1FHLKygI/AAAAAAAAAhs/Io-mox37cbY/s640/blogger-image-1786219029.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-XEl0KzArmAw/Utu1FHLKygI/AAAAAAAAAhs/Io-mox37cbY/s640/blogger-image-1786219029.jpg"></a></div>Hey there! </span></div><div>Today I'm going to show you some goodies I picked up from Forever 21. They are having a 50% off sale on everything that's already on sale! Most of the items above were in the sale section online and everything totaled just over $50 (gotta love free shipping!). Although the actual store is offering the same 50% off special it doesn't offer the same items at sale price so I definitely recommend checking out what is available online! All of the clothing items are from the Forever21+ line. This is the first time I have tried their plus size clothes. I consider myself an inbetween size and it's sometimes difficult to find clothes that fit well. Plus sizes are usually too big/awkward and the regular size, although fits, just doesn't seem right either. Not to mention I sort of have a girl crush on the Forever21+ model:<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-Lyka4d2_3-M/Utu1Jsju-uI/AAAAAAAAAiE/l2nx4On9wJg/s640/blogger-image--846576827.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-Lyka4d2_3-M/Utu1Jsju-uI/AAAAAAAAAiE/l2nx4On9wJg/s640/blogger-image--846576827.jpg"></a></div></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">She is gorgeous. Love love love her hair and I think her body is perfect. So I decided if the clothes look good on the models they advertise it would be worth a shot to try them out for myself. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-JedFFrA2SSE/Utu1EKbczRI/AAAAAAAAAhk/ST_rKuJVsxA/s640/blogger-image--955696726.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-JedFFrA2SSE/Utu1EKbczRI/AAAAAAAAAhk/ST_rKuJVsxA/s640/blogger-image--955696726.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-mFvIRliHX9w/Utu0-P5GJJI/AAAAAAAAAg8/v6SQoUqiOtw/s640/blogger-image-26759565.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-mFvIRliHX9w/Utu0-P5GJJI/AAAAAAAAAg8/v6SQoUqiOtw/s640/blogger-image-26759565.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">This top wasn't on sale but it didn't break the budget and I needed one more item to push me into free shipping range. It's a soft black short sleeve shirt with a super neat zipper detail that follows the entire neckline. The whole back of the shirt is lace and feels so feminine and sexy to wear. I got this in the XL which is the smallest size offered in the plus and I love the way this shirt fits, it's loose but not baggy, it follows my curves, the zipper lays nicely on my chest and just creates a really nice silhouette. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Rv1FBM9YbFg/Utu1I4RUyKI/AAAAAAAAAh8/fro4z10UFtI/s640/blogger-image--2058644061.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Rv1FBM9YbFg/Utu1I4RUyKI/AAAAAAAAAh8/fro4z10UFtI/s640/blogger-image--2058644061.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">This is a short sleeve open front sweater. It has an all over tribal print and the tan and black colors will go well with many looks. I really like the length of this sweater, sits just below the bum and the shape is really nice. I tried it on and it is quite warm (which a sweater should be!) but in south Texas I might not be able to wear this until the fall. It was a great price though and I could not pass it up. This is also the XL but it seems a bit bigger. I could possibly try taking it in or try wearing it with a belt :) <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-sKDpyYBCI5M/Utu1DSiqFAI/AAAAAAAAAhc/cdCbvEw2tMk/s640/blogger-image--1714345974.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-sKDpyYBCI5M/Utu1DSiqFAI/AAAAAAAAAhc/cdCbvEw2tMk/s640/blogger-image--1714345974.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">First can I say I am loving Tribal Print right now! The light colored jeans with the tribal embroidery are AWESOME! These I noticed weren't on sale in-store but online sale and 50%, they were a steal. They fit really well and feel great, just the right amount of give. The picture doesn't do them justice, the quality is pretty great. The pair on the left is a black denim pant with a bit of stretch in them. They are very comfortable. Both pairs are a size 14 (they offer a 12 but I am bigger on bottom so decided to try out the 14) The light colored jeans fit really well. The black with the stretch hug nicely but still seem big, I tend to have to wear a belt or keep pulling them up. I'm thinking once I wash and dry them I might not have this issue. Overall I am still highly impressed with the quality of the clothes I got and will definitely keep an eye out for more sale selections. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-doz7C5uC3Y4/Utu1ANM-IzI/AAAAAAAAAhM/sjoY8fWU09I/s640/blogger-image-193468079.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-doz7C5uC3Y4/Utu1ANM-IzI/AAAAAAAAAhM/sjoY8fWU09I/s640/blogger-image-193468079.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I got a few things that weren't clothes but were also on sale and an additional half off. This makeup bag is super cute and a great size for anything you might need to put in it. The quality is awesome and the gold hearts are prefect. It was only $2.90! They had one that was mint green with gold hearts and I flip flopped on adding it to my cart and in the end decided I didn't really NEED 2 of the same style travel bags. Once I saw how cute and sturdy it was in person I wish I had bought the other one too! <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-5tYN746WQFo/Utu1HZNcl8I/AAAAAAAAAh0/Wj4ugVC4HHA/s640/blogger-image--207179730.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-5tYN746WQFo/Utu1HZNcl8I/AAAAAAAAAh0/Wj4ugVC4HHA/s640/blogger-image--207179730.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">When I saw this set of self adhesive nails with a variety of studs I snatched it up. I figured the actual press on nails probably weren't great but I really wanted the stud kit. I've been looking up nail designs using different studs and this is prefect. The set was less than $3. When I opened this I realized it only had 12 nails, and each nail was a different size! What?! How is someone with 10 fingers supposed to actually use the nails in this kit? The adhesive seemed OK but without proper fit on ANY of my nails there was no way they would work out, I threw them away. HOWEVER the star of this kit is definitely the studs! I am so glad I bought it just for that. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-LOFhEShJFag/Utu1CFoIDvI/AAAAAAAAAhU/bCVbDHxSs5Q/s640/blogger-image-2097118246.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-LOFhEShJFag/Utu1CFoIDvI/AAAAAAAAAhU/bCVbDHxSs5Q/s640/blogger-image-2097118246.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I was so excited I did this quick mani to try them out. Can't wait to play with more designs! <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-LQBhxyFHWpA/Utu1KluGB3I/AAAAAAAAAiM/bRG0OwwfnTA/s640/blogger-image--184759296.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-LQBhxyFHWpA/Utu1KluGB3I/AAAAAAAAAiM/bRG0OwwfnTA/s640/blogger-image--184759296.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">The last thing I picked up for about $3 and because I LOVE studs was this phone case. It's feminine but edgy at the same time and I just love the details. It is a basic hard shell so it won't be too protective on my IPhone but I am impressed with the feel of it in my hand. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Overall I am so glad I picked up these things and cannot believe the amazing prices on everything. The quality and details are awesome and I am "forever" in love with forever21. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Thanks for reading!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Til next time,</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Trish </div></div></div></div></div></div><br></div></div></div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15713572139716995217noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4150611905592053558.post-32511108170592633022014-01-16T09:32:00.001-08:002014-01-16T09:32:57.378-08:00Thumbs Up Thursday!<div><br></div>Hey there!<div>Today is another Thumbs Up Thursday, I've got a few products to highlight and a few other things I am just enjoying at the moment. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-4TtZ_61ml1s/UtgXp7IuxeI/AAAAAAAAAf0/W_VjQoV84Vk/s640/blogger-image-49545050.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-4TtZ_61ml1s/UtgXp7IuxeI/AAAAAAAAAf0/W_VjQoV84Vk/s640/blogger-image-49545050.jpg"></a></div></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">This is the Beauty Protector Protect and Detangle leave in conditioning spray. It's AMAZING. I originally received a sample size in a birchbox and instantly fell in love with it. My hair is so soft, silky and smooth. It does not weigh down my hair and does not turn greasy. It says to leave in and use before styling to protect against heat damage. I usually only blow dry my hair but with this, people are always telling me my hair looks so soft. I can't stop running my fingers through it. It's got a pleasant scent too! I've tried to find the product outside of the birchbox website but no luck so I just purchased the full size from them. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-ZHdJYtSvrsA/UtgXo_ziXWI/AAAAAAAAAfs/K9Pl2PfkQAI/s640/blogger-image--1398932648.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-ZHdJYtSvrsA/UtgXo_ziXWI/AAAAAAAAAfs/K9Pl2PfkQAI/s640/blogger-image--1398932648.jpg"></a><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-ZHdJYtSvrsA/UtgXo_ziXWI/AAAAAAAAAfs/K9Pl2PfkQAI/s640/blogger-image--1398932648.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></a><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-w5OXjIopx9w/UtgXq_H9bJI/AAAAAAAAAf8/bGWXhZHHRio/s640/blogger-image-1850924446.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-w5OXjIopx9w/UtgXq_H9bJI/AAAAAAAAAf8/bGWXhZHHRio/s640/blogger-image-1850924446.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Lately I have been loving plain nonfat Greek yogurt (no particular brand) and find that when mixed with honey, peanut butter, and cinnamon makes an awesome fruit dip, especially with apples. I'm sure it's relatively healthy and has lots of protein and fiber from the fruit. It keeps me full if I eat it for breakfast and tastes more like a dessert. I also like to top mixed fruit (berries, pineapple, papaya, grapes) with the yogurt, drizzle with honey and sprinkle pecans on top. Soo good!<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-bVKcHReNa0o/UtgXvUKSrnI/AAAAAAAAAgc/MrlrQr26Ai4/s640/blogger-image-431652030.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-bVKcHReNa0o/UtgXvUKSrnI/AAAAAAAAAgc/MrlrQr26Ai4/s640/blogger-image-431652030.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">This candle is from Nest Fragrances, it's the Burchwood Pine Luxury Scented Candle. I got it in a Popsugar Must Have box and it is delicious. The candle infuses the whole room with the most pleasant wintery scent even when it's not burning. This photo does not do justice for the beauty of the glass itself. It has a gold leaf pattern design and I cannot wait to use the candle up and have the pretty jar to store makeup brushes or eyeliners atop my vanity. The Popsugar Must Have boxes are really great and I really enjoy the items they send.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-bVf4v4VrMXA/UtgXsc1iLrI/AAAAAAAAAgE/BdGCwVP1Tkg/s640/blogger-image-423050476.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-bVf4v4VrMXA/UtgXsc1iLrI/AAAAAAAAAgE/BdGCwVP1Tkg/s640/blogger-image-423050476.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">This body cream From TokyoMilk (also received in a Popsugar box) smells fantastic. It makes my skin so soft, it applys smooth and absorbs nicely. When I wear this I do not need a perfume because it leaves me with a faint pleasant smell throughout the day. It keeps my skin supple and I like to apply it right from the shower. The jar itself is huge and cleverly designed. A really great find!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-CpWlvhSCD2M/UtgXtAm1c9I/AAAAAAAAAgM/X2Ll5fy5vAU/s640/blogger-image--1312611271.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-CpWlvhSCD2M/UtgXtAm1c9I/AAAAAAAAAgM/X2Ll5fy5vAU/s640/blogger-image--1312611271.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">When I'm not feeling in the mood for coffee (which is rare) but still need a caffeine jolt I reach for a sugar-free energy drink. I've tried most varieties and granted they all taste a bit like the candy Smarties on crack. It's a toss up if this taste is pleasant or not. Either way a friend from work introduced to me the Monster Energy Ultra Zero. This DOES NOT taste like doped up sugary candy. It's mellow, slightly sweet, slightly tart. It reminds me of Squirt soda. It definitely has a hint of grapefruit to it and it seems like although it is still carbonated it isn't extreme fizz like most other energy drinks. This stuff could be dangerous because it doesn't feel like I'm drinking an energy drink, just seems like a refreshing beverage so I've got to be careful not to reach for one right before bed! Overall I love this and it's my go to boost of energy when coffee just won't cut it.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><br></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Moving on to the one Thumbs Down for this week.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-gbLlFNr4Ir8/UtgXwMD4HHI/AAAAAAAAAgk/tUUzhfIFCcY/s640/blogger-image-1163754464.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-gbLlFNr4Ir8/UtgXwMD4HHI/AAAAAAAAAgk/tUUzhfIFCcY/s640/blogger-image-1163754464.jpg"></a></div> I was really kind of bummed out because when I got the BH Cosmetics Contour and Blush Palette it seemed like it was going to be really awesome. I loved the color and when I first applied it everything seemed great. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-vZCWGytDlSU/UtgXuV05wgI/AAAAAAAAAgU/ylWcxtbd8zs/s640/blogger-image--783066269.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-vZCWGytDlSU/UtgXuV05wgI/AAAAAAAAAgU/ylWcxtbd8zs/s640/blogger-image--783066269.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Then by the end of the FIRST day wearing it, right above my jaw line a huge pimple surfaced. I don't usually have acne issues and never in that area. I did not wear foundation this day and the only thing I applied there was the brown contour color. I decided to try it a few more days and the breakouts just got worse! I stopped using it and they are starting to go away. I REALLY wanted to love this. I will continue to try the blushes to see if they will still work out but I mainly got the palette for the contour color. BOO. I'm sure not everyone will have this reaction but something in the formula causes me to breakout.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">And in the spirit of tradition here's a #TBT for ya!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-7QijewjENiU/UtgXx3kb6bI/AAAAAAAAAgs/-KYKVvupkOU/s640/blogger-image-374130763.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-7QijewjENiU/UtgXx3kb6bI/AAAAAAAAAgs/-KYKVvupkOU/s640/blogger-image-374130763.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">My dad and I, circa 1989.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">:)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Thanks for reading!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Til next time,</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Trish </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><br></div></span></div><br></div><br></div></div></div></div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15713572139716995217noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4150611905592053558.post-68895945566965937442014-01-14T04:59:00.001-08:002014-01-14T05:32:15.572-08:00Outfit of the Week<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-we59vXVebF4/UtU8ARiWZKI/AAAAAAAAAeA/J5nFQqFPG3A/s640/blogger-image--11419319.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-we59vXVebF4/UtU8ARiWZKI/AAAAAAAAAeA/J5nFQqFPG3A/s640/blogger-image--11419319.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Hey there!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Today I bring you another installment of my work week outfits. Why only 3 you ask? I decided that not all of my outfits are always pulled together at 2:30am when I'm getting ready for work. If I pick my best 3 outfits each week I've got a little wiggle room for error. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-0AA2zRdbqLA/UtU8CKtSc5I/AAAAAAAAAeI/ukC5GoajOPg/s640/blogger-image-1305099617.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-0AA2zRdbqLA/UtU8CKtSc5I/AAAAAAAAAeI/ukC5GoajOPg/s640/blogger-image-1305099617.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">This deep cobalt blue shirt is one if my favorites from Target. It's easy to wear and the silhouette suits me well. I pair it with a gray/brown textured pant from Gap. These pants are soft and very comfortable. The shoes are slip resistant pumps from Payless. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-WK-MuozyOk4/UtU796-4QbI/AAAAAAAAAdw/CuFELUQO4YQ/s640/blogger-image-1082629462.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-WK-MuozyOk4/UtU796-4QbI/AAAAAAAAAdw/CuFELUQO4YQ/s640/blogger-image-1082629462.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">This was a fun outfit. I'm always delighted on the slight chance I can wear jeans to work. These jeans are from Eighty Eight Jeans and I found them on Zulily. They fit perfect and go with any outfit. This top used to be a dress that shrunk and is now too short, so I just fold under the bottom. I got it at Target along with the black sweater that has Black rhinestones on the shoulders. I get compliments on the sweater all the time. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-HbvZbiNJcs0/UtU7_F-MUEI/AAAAAAAAAd4/x71O4VhUpYY/s640/blogger-image--901650832.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-HbvZbiNJcs0/UtU7_F-MUEI/AAAAAAAAAd4/x71O4VhUpYY/s640/blogger-image--901650832.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Here I paired a black cropped blazer from Mine Too found on Zulily with a short sleeve button up top from Nordstrom Rack. The top has a nice brown dot design and tabs on the sleeves. The pants are my trusty NYDJ that I bought from Hautelook. The necklace is from Zulily and the earrings from Forever21 (they have such cute inexpensive earrings and so far they do not irritate my ears!). I'm pretty sure this outfit would have looked nicer with the shirt tucked in and a black belt but the NYDJ come pretty high up and would not have worked out that way. </div></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Nothing too exciting this time, some weeks I'm so tired it's hard to get creative at all. I've also got certain criteria I have to follow for our dress code. Boo! Someday I'll have a job that let's me dress however I want! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I should be getting my first DIY finished by the end of the week and stay tuned for Thumbs Up Thursday as well!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Thanks for reading,</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Til next time</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Trish</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div></div></div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15713572139716995217noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4150611905592053558.post-59796180831433838402014-01-12T02:26:00.001-08:002014-01-12T02:26:46.843-08:00Dressing Room Tour!Hey there!<div>Today I'm going to take you inside what I hope to someday be my beauty/makeup/dressing room. This is a virtual tour because it does not yet exist. I spent a few hours using a free program from the Design Within Reach website to plan and decorate a virtual room. I absolutely LOVE what I came up with and enjoyed using the planner. They had so much to choose from and at the end you get a 3D rendering of your design.</div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-FNN-JtM7cl8/UtJt5c3AySI/AAAAAAAAAXk/-SV0liTcZik/s640/blogger-image-1763951170.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-FNN-JtM7cl8/UtJt5c3AySI/AAAAAAAAAXk/-SV0liTcZik/s640/blogger-image-1763951170.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I was able to input the specs of a room that is currently in my house and change wall color, and add furniture. The windows, doors, and even rug are almost exact match to my actual room. I got the inspiration for the closet wall from this photo that I found on Pinterest: </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-XItksdjBBmU/UtJt2jf0ciI/AAAAAAAAAXM/fFkIGhsEzrc/s640/blogger-image--1859493937.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-XItksdjBBmU/UtJt2jf0ciI/AAAAAAAAAXM/fFkIGhsEzrc/s640/blogger-image--1859493937.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Hope one day my clothing collection might look like this! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-pzLTjBhHZMw/UtJt4vepHRI/AAAAAAAAAXc/xdJmWTEsdmo/s640/blogger-image--1731139391.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-pzLTjBhHZMw/UtJt4vepHRI/AAAAAAAAAXc/xdJmWTEsdmo/s640/blogger-image--1731139391.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Here is the other side of the room. To the left is a closet, a tall mirror (just what I need for OOTD pics) a seating area with wire dressing mannequin and plenty of art on the walls. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-c2c1-u3VPjM/UtJt3vyPz9I/AAAAAAAAAXU/qu-gNPqpAFE/s640/blogger-image-1130813007.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-c2c1-u3VPjM/UtJt3vyPz9I/AAAAAAAAAXU/qu-gNPqpAFE/s640/blogger-image-1130813007.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">The above photo found on Flickr is my color and pattern inspiration! If I could recreate everything about this room I would. This encompasses my style and personality perfectly. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I think the 3D design program did a pretty awesome job recreating most of the design elements and being able to see it in a space I currently have makes me so excited to work on making it a reality. I highly recommend using the DWR 3-D Room Planner to plan design and bring them to life!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Thanks for reading!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Til next time,</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Trish</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div></div></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><br></div><br></div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15713572139716995217noreply@blogger.com2
